Hip-Hop Trivia Quiz
A pair of businesses in Durham, North Carolina have decided to host a hip hop trivia quiz as a way to encourage people to learn more about the genre and to see that there are a lot of positive things about hip hop music and fruity loops that has not been made public on a regular basis by some of the more vocal stars of the music world. The sponsors of the trivia quiz suggest that there are a lot of positive elements regarding the genre and that getting people involved in a game is a good way to spread the word about hip hop music.
The trivia quiz is to be held for three hours in the evening and participants are likely to be asked questions in one of three categories which are slated to include history of the genre of hip hop music, questions regarding the naming of particular songs that go with various verses and a speed round that will request answers in just seconds from the participants. The winner of the contest will be required to defend his title in additional events that the organizers are planning to hold in 2012 each third Friday of the month.
Not only is the event designed to coincide with Kwanzaa, but it is also supposed to be a family friendly affair and will encourage participation from people of all ages who like the genre. Hip hop music has received a rather difficult reputation in past years because of the bombastic attitudes and statements of its biggest stars.
