Vampires have interested people who like horror movies for decades. Since television was first introduced, movies featuring vampires have been popular with the general public since they were first introduced back in the fifties.

Even though vampires have been around for many years, they have pretty much stayed the same since back in the day. Recently there have been some changes in what most consider to be the traditional vampire. There are now vampires that are portrayed to be good vampires in movies like The Twilight Saga and new hit television series called True Blood. The new idea of a vampire will go to bars and live in communities with humans.

In these new movies and television shows these vampires will date and even have been known to marry and sleep with humans. Some people do not like the idea of this and do not watch shows that have this sort of activity. Most people do like these new shows and have helped them to become some of the most watched televison events of all time.

Twilight has taken the entertainment world by storm, and the first movie left many fans waiting to see the next installment of The Twilight Saga. In this movie, a young girl moves to Washington and falls in love with a vampire who appears to be a teenage boy but is really a vampire that is over one hundred years old. This provides many thrills throughout the movie, and has movie fans waiting on the next one to come out.
